FUmr Explanation: Since PNLG is neurology, UFrm could be "Unité Fonctionnelle [imagerie] résonance magnétique". In English Functional Unit magnetic resonance [imaging] The i would be omitted because not necessary for clarity and need to spare space. This is normally MRI, not just MR. However, I recently translated a paper and a presentation where the authors systematically omitted the "I" and always wrote PET/RM etc. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 hrs (2019-06-19 17:22:07 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- OK. Then I see another possibility since it is just below "séj-UF". It could mean "résidence médicale", the place where the person goes (while séj-UF is the duration). Depending on the other examples in your document, this could be translated into FUmr (Functional Unit médical residence) or FUl (Functional Unit location). However, I tend to agree that this should not be translated at all. FUrm is safer. |
