Some years ago, a healthy boundary for me would be not biting off more than I could chew and learning to say no, but as I’m now navigating through a dry period, I’m replacing that boundary by accepting work whatever the day…

P.S. This month hasn't been as bad as last month...

I don't mind working late at night if I still have the energy and focus, or during the weekend if I have no better plans. So I don't have anything so clear-cut as the poll supposes, I just sign off when I've had enough for the day, and say no when I don't have capacity for more work.

The real trouble is when I've taken on more than I turn out to be comfortable with due to unforeseen difficulties! But since I deal mainly in short-term projects, that rarely gets too bad before I am re
