Tough decision. You could probably translate 'set' and 'registry' but 'TrayIconMode' should NOT be translated. I would say. Sorry I can't offer a decent translation :/
I'm nervous about translating strings because they could contain fixed variables that exist in the real world, not just as examples. As you say context :)
Strings
I used to translate strings a lot for XXX (a big sized computer company), where I worked as an in house translator for many years. The downside is the lack of contest.
Marlene. If they are a set of strings you shouldn't translate them because they are probably a set of Variables that are be used elsewhere. You could change 'set' for example but a computer program may already have that would hard-wired into its code.
