Spanish term

Factor de edema de pollo del C de A

Spanish to English Science Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng
Sorry for the long term, it's actually only the 'C de A' part I need help with, but if I posted just that, there would be no context.

No much to go on. This is a list of lab tests for Stearic acid.

Includes other items such as GC Assay, heavy metals, mesh analysis, residue on ignition, etc. And then:

Factor de edema de pollo del C de A (USP)
No detectable

Hoping someone has come across this C de A before and knows what it stands for...

Discussion

David Russi Jan 29, 2008:
You are welcome, Laura.
Laura Molinari (asker) Jan 29, 2008:
I mean David! Sorry David, I saw John's name and typed that in - I meant thank you DAVID (and John too :)
John Cutler Jan 24, 2008:
I looked in the Spanish version of the USP; it wasn't much help. My best guess is that it stands for cantidad de... or contenido de... But the A is still a mystery. Perhaps it's an enzyme? agua?

Centro de acopio

an educated guess (assuming C de A is a Spanish abbreviation). I believe this is a centre (like cooperative) were farm produce is collected to be sold in markets.
