sito azienda vinicola - sezione acido tartarico naturale per utilizzo nel settore farmacologico
si dice che nel settore farmacologico l'acido tartarico naturale viene utilizzato come eccipiente e coadiuvante di principi attivi. Non riesco a tradurre "coadiuvante di principi attivi". Potrebbe essere "active ingredient adjuvant"? Oppure solo "adjuvant"?

: In most contexts, I would be inclined to go just for adjuvant, as in a pharmaceutical situation this is bound to refer to a substance boosting the action of the active ingredient, isn't it?

I must admit, I have only ever come across & used 'adjuvant'; however, they are both classed as synonyms.
