German term

Trachthonig

German to English Science Food & Drink Beekeeping
"Wie entsteht Trachthonig?
Die Ernte von Trachthonigen ist nur in Gebieten möglich, in denen die jeweiligen Trachtpflanzen gehäuft vorkommen."

It is from a German website that needs to be translated. "Tracht" refers to the pollen, nectar and honeydew collected by bees - that I have found out from Wikipedia.

Beekeeping for Dummies Don't get offended by the title; there really is a book named like this. One sentence from it reads:
"There are beekeepers out there who harvest honey from a single floral source called varietals or uni-floral honeys."
https://www.dummies.com/home-garden/hobby-farming/beekeeping...

You could use those two terms.

@nocciola Sortenhonig is a synonym for Trachthonig, e.g.:
"Sortenhonige (Trachthonig) – wie z. B. Raps-, Lindenblüten-, Wiesenhonig verdanken ihren typischen Geschmack der bestimmten Pflanze (Tracht)."
https://www.bz-berlin.de/artikel-archiv/imker-und-bienen

"Stammt ein Honig vorwiegend von einer Blüte, so darf er sich nach der jeweiligen Blüte nennen (Trachthonig oder Sortenhonig)."
https://www.slowfood.de/slow_food_vor_ort/moselhunsrueckeife...

Somewhere else, it says that bees producing Trachthonige (a word of old German origin: drahte(a) = eingetragene Nahrung) usually get "material" from one type of plant only (of course, if possible).

Trachthonig vs. Sortenhonig If I take "monofloral honey", or one of the other alternatives offered by Andres Larsen, how do I translate "Sortenhonig"? I don't think that "foraged honey" is right in this case because all this company's products seem to be foraged honey.

foraged honey

Trachtbiene: foraging (harvesting, field) bee
Mühle, Fachwörterbuch Landwirtschaft

Naturally-foraged honey. We NEVER feed our bees sugar syrup or pollen substitute. Unless a honey producer specifically states that they do not feed sugar syrup, it is very likely that they do as supplemental feeding is standard practice in beekeeping – even for many “natural” beekeepers! Bees who forage their own nectar instead of being fed sugar syrup are more robust; feeding processed unnatural forms of food is likely to have an effect on the the bee’s health… as well as the honey they produce. https://www.beesanctuary.com.au/honey/
