English term

recombinant antibody

GBK English to German Science Biology (-tech,-chem,micro-)
Definition from Pharma IQ:
A Recombinant Antibody is defined as an antibody produced by genetic engineering. Recombinant antibody has significant advantages compared with the conventional antibody and there for its use becoming more popular now days. The fact that no animals are needed in the manufacturing procedure of the recombinant antibodies, in addition, the manufacturing time is relatively short compared with the conventional method. Moreover, the quality of the final product is higher that these of the non recombinant method.
Example sentences:
By the recombinant DNA technology, link purified genes of VH and VL with prokaryotic expression vector which requires select in advance based on your target recombinant antibody fragments. If you need scfv fragment antibody, linker must be designed in your PCR strategy. (Creative Biolabs )
One of the first recombinant antibody fusions with therapeutic potential consisted of a monoclonal antibody, specific for the fibrin β-chain, in which the Fc portion was replaced with an engineered version of the β-chain of tissue-type plasminogen activator (t-PA) (144). (Science Direct)
Also delivering custom recombinant antibody production, GenScript has invested many years in optimizing its cell lines, gene synthesis and plasmid preparation, transfection reagents, and media systems to offer a suite of different services. (Biocompare)

rekombinanter Antikörper

Definition from Wikipedia:
