"warping or buckling" wouldn't be a "minor defect" for packaging. It would be rejected.

It's more likely to be about printed colours that are "not quite right" (faded / pale f.ex.) - but not that bad that the packaging wouldn't still be usable.

Thank you all for your input (hello, in particular to Bourth...long time no see!). Am I the only one who gets sent texts that have little or no context other than a list in a word table? All I know is that this is about the classification of potential defects on packaging for a pharmaceutical company - more specifically defects relating to decor or printing. I have proposed 'fogging' to my client, with a suggestion that she checks this with her clients...like you do :)

@ Joanne Usually there is always some kind of context, with the exception of pure word lists. The sentence alone provides it. The further context can be found in the rest of the text. It would therefore be nice to inform us of what is being manufactured or packaged here, what the packaging looks like and is made of, and what kind of flaw is present here, i.e. what deviations it shows from the accepted standard.
Is the text "A decor or printing defect on product packaging that would be classified as minor" your interpretation or the definition of "voilage"?
