Discussion

Brent Sørensen (asker) Apr 21:
Thanks for the quick discussion. I am almost certain it is ohne Datum in my text.
Björn Vrooman Apr 21:
@Jennifer All good. With things like these, I'm never sure whether it's the same abbreviation on both sides of the Atlantic (mostly know the American system). Considering I just found an Australian link, I guess--for once--there is no difference =)

Here's a UK one: https://libguides.northampton.ac.uk/harvard/citing/missingde...

Enjoy your Sunday!
Kartik Isaac Apr 21:
Just saw you posted this before I submitted an answer. I agree with "ohne Datum".
J.' (ohne Jahr) schreiben.

z.B.: (Mayer o. J.)"

Nach APA sieht das so aus:
"Describe the work in square brackets, write 'n.d.' for 'no date,' and then provide the source."
https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/references...

Grüße

PS
Das Chicago Manual of Style verwendet ebenfalls "n.d.":

Silke Walter Apr 21:
Without date? Since there is no example given here: could it be "ohne Datum" (der Veröffentlichung)?

agree philgoddard : Yes to 'undated', and you can abbreviate it, as Jennifer points out. ' Without date' sounds a bit awkward to me.

n.d.

Totally agree with Kartik's interpretation of o.D. as "undated", but the term we'd actually use in English-language academic references for this is "n.d."

Sorry - just spotted that Bjorn has "n.d." tucked away in his discussion comment! Didn't intend to pinch your response: Bjorn, feel free to submit as an answer and you'll get my "agree" :)

agree Björn Vrooman : Ofc, undated also works. But this seems to be used around the world and is just as short as the original. What irks me, though, is that APA and (I think) some others don't require that you specify when you accessed a page.
