Arabic term

طفيليات الشريريا

Arabic to English Art/Literary Biology (-tech,-chem,micro-)
A type of parasite mentioned in a work of fiction.

It could be a made-up name or a play on words, but I am not sure. The context deals with the illness "Visceral leishmaniasis" (also called kala-azar or كالازار ), which, according to Wikipedia, is caused by "protozoan parasites of the Leishmania genus."

Thank you, Lina. I think you are correct on this.
Bacteria, not parasites It seems that the text you are translating is not accurate, because if we will assume that E. coli is what is meant, it is not a parasite at all, ie it is not طفيليات.
