Literally, the Arabic expression would mean "chromosomal splicing by cellular-molecular analysis," but I have never heard of that. Gene splicing, however, is well-known.

: I'll go for the literal translation. In medical documents, the literal phrase suggested is the one used, while in medical articles for example, the heading phrase suggested is the one used. Scientifically, I'll go for the literal one :)
