Background
In Ministerial Resolution of 16 November 2006, no. 133/E, the Tax Authorities have provided important clarification on the tax treatment of the accruals to the Provision for Employee Leaving Indemnity (TFR) following the adoption of the International Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS).
The Resolution also analyses the tax treatment to be applied in respect of the adjustments to the Employee Leaving Indemnity made in the first period of application of the Standards.
