may Allah guide you
It is an invokation that can be said in many different situations. When said to younger people, it is meant to wish for them to improve. Among adults, it is often used as a positive way to end a negative situation, or sometimes a positive way to say "i give up", and many other things, frequently by someone who tries to manage a frustrating situation positively.

: In a contextual situation, it may connote "We have different views on something. May God lead you to my right opinion!" Here the phrase reflects self-partiality

ya Alaa Allah yahdik it is a contextual situation, as I tried to explain:) It's mostly said by someone who doesn't like to offend, even in the situation you're describing, someone else would say "you're being stubborn", "you just can't get it", or worse.
