From having sampled and compared both Saudi and Syrian ma'moul delicacies, may I observe that while Syrian ma'mouls are tasty, the more-delicious and more-nutritious ones are Saudi ma'moul pastries, especially those produced from dates harvested in Buraidah, al-Qaseem or al-Hofuf (several distinctive varieties are found there).
