The asker explained in another question that it is a back translation. As you see, the Arabic is not that great and I can't count on using one preposition instead of the other to make it decisive. I am sure that the asker can tell from the whole context

: result notified/delivered/communicated/conveyed to the patient or received by the patient; unless the text shows otherwise. How can the patient give a result? Are they not "given" the result? Translator, please check your text to verify the context.

Google hits suggest that the term is used by native speaker professionals. They also suggest that there is an equivalent that renders the same meaning of word for word wordy phrases that smell translation.
