disagree Peter Kissik : Určitě ne. Jde o závažnost vznesených/uplatněných nároků.

Nároky vyplývají z událostí, které jsou pojištěny. V pojišťovacím žargonu často claim odkazuje i na událost. Myslím, že kontrola závažnosti se vztahuje spíš k těm událostem, podle mne se kontroluje, zda výše nároku odpovídá závažnosti události.
