neapgūtas piepilsētas teritorijas
kontekstaa ar šo definīciju: greenfield- A piece of usually semirural property that is undeveloped except for agricultural use, especially one considered as a site for expanding urban development." Bet stipri atšķiras atkarībā no konteksta. Paša jēdziena "greenfield" latviski nemaz nav, jāizlīdzas ar aprakstu. Var nozīmēt "jaunu kompāniju dibināšanu/celšanu", skat zemāk.
Piemērs no tulkojuma:-
...I dealt with the integration of newly acquired companies and also established greenfield operations. As a consultant I also participated extensively in different integration and restructuring efforts.

This paper formalises the choice a firm has to face when entering a foreign market via FDI as between setting up an entirely new plant (greenfield investment) or acquiring an existing indigenous firm.
Foreign direct investment (FDI) flows to developing countries surged in the 1990s to become their leading source of external financing. This rise in FDI volume was accompanied by a marked change in its composition: investment taking the form of acquisition of existing assets (mergers and acquisitions) grew much more rapidly than investment in new assets (greenfield FDI), particularly in countries undertaking extensive privatization of public enterprises.

Tas var būt jebkāds jauna objekta uzsākums, tā ideja ir \"no nulles, no nekā, tukšā vietā, no paša sākuma, un kā jau minēju, neapgūtā vietā, jomā. Vakar biju Toronto, neredzēju šo jautājumu.
