The mineralized zone is built up of alternating bands of thin layers of massive sulfide ore, chert, tuff and tuffite. Dissemination-veinlet type of mineralisation does not contain high-grade ore. Pyrite is the most abundant mineral. Sphalerite is the primary ore mineral, accompanied by galena, chalcopyrite, tetrahedrite, while bornite and arsenopyrite rarely occur.
