...the bench would be the elevated, concrete pad adjacent to the oven doors. It's basically the walkway next to the ovens. On the coke side, the bench would be where the door machine rides on. On your model the main level, where the ram is, is level with the pusher side bench on the battery. There would be a way to get from the bench to on board the pusher.... Usually the coal will start pouring out onto the bench, and a lot of thick greenish and black smoke will come out as well.
