Catalogue item with no further details.
Context: Transport
pedana = pallet, but what does "a rendere" mean in the context?
Could it be a pallet converter (i.e. a pallet that can be converted into a box?
Many thanks in advance.

Ivana,
"a rendere" means just this - I saw a logistics application of the net for managing these pedane a rendere e a non rendere (i.e. clients have to return them after delivery).
I think a pedana is different from a pallet, and this is the only logical alternative,
Alison

Note from asker:
No problem! The only reason I know for sure that it's a pallet, is that I have pictures of the various catalogue items. All pallets look like normal pallets except this one, which seems to be somehow 'unfolded' with flaps everywhere. This is why I was thinking of convertible pallets, but I'm not at all sure. |

: That's it. It's like "Vetro a Rendere" - Returnable Glass - which is little used any more. Returnable packaging helps companies reach their waste reduction/management targets. Here it's prob. an alternative to "std non returnable" pkg.
