Russian to English Science Archaeology Palaeolithic sites in Russia
This term comes up often in the text and I'm not sure how to translate it in an archaeological context. It refers to areas where work was carried out, such as stone tool manufacturing.

Example 1:

Example 2:

Example 3:

"It looked like a workshop, where the people had moved out yesterday, dropping their stone tools on the ground as they left," gushes Walter. "The shear number of tools was staggering."
