Should Teaching Committees be called 'Teaching Committees' or 'Learning and Teaching Quality Committees'
There was some sympathy among attendees to the suggestion that Teaching Committees should be called 'Teaching and Learning Committees' or similar (the Faculty of English has a 'Teaching and Learning Committee'; the Faculty of History has a 'Teaching, Learning and Quality Committee'), although some felt that this would undermine the key responsibility and purpose of such committees.
