От кого привета ждешь?
Может быть, не от меня,
Но сегодня это я.
More or less literally:
Hello, sunshine, how are you?
Whose greeting were you expecting?
Maybe not mine,
But today, I'm the one.
I tried to turn it into a roughly equivalent verse:
Hello, sunshine, pleased to meet you.
Who did you expect to greet you?
Someone, maybe, but not me,
Yet I'm who it turned out to be.
От кого привета ждешь?
Может быть, не от меня,
Но сегодня это я.
