Comment: "Большое спасибо всем. Я все же остановилась на варианте "declared missing" как самом простом. Это не обращение в суд, это постановление суда (документы из Казахстана), и человек БЫЛ признан безвестно отсутствующим. Legally dead писать побоялась - все иной юридический оттенок. Отдельное спасибо Ирине за ссылку. "
