Dorene Cornwell Jun 17, 2005:
I looked at the Unicode again. Jack is right as far as what the text says. So translate it and let someone else figure out whether it makes sense.
Non-ProZ.com Jun 16, 2005:
the rest.................... Yes apologies, I did originally type in everything but it seems to have gone missing, here are the words that went missing after the above:

"эксплуатируемых в жилых домах или подключаемых к их злектрическим сетям"
Dorene Cornwell Jun 16, 2005:
The whole sentence please. I think there are some words that could be omitted in English, but I would rather have the whole sentence because I try.

industrial radio interference from electrical devices

If someone could think of a better word than "devices", it would be an improvement.

In view of the asker\'s later addition to the context, I can think of a better word myself: appliances.

neutral Vladimir Spiridonov : вместо devices.....caused by home electrical equipment

Thank you. Yes, but I would say "domestic" rather than "home".
agree koundelev : what about electrical facilities? IMHO it makes a better link to "industrial"...

Thank you. Maybe so, if Dorene is right, but not otherwise
agree Dorene Cornwell : ,My bet: industrial equipment is more likely to cause RF interference affecting home appliances than the reverse, Hence: radio interference from industrial sources ..(affecting household applicances)

Thank you. It is annoying having to keep switching from Unicode to Cyrillic Windows and back to get all of this, but although I agree that your interpretation makes sense, I can't see that that is what is actually said here.
agree Nina Tchernova : To Dorene: it never says that the industrial interference bothers household appliences; it could be, for example, security equipment at airports that they want to shield from interference. But electrical sources is good, broader than appliences

Thank you.
agree Kirk Bradham : from what I see I agree with Jack Doughty I would just change electrical to electronic
