As you can probably tell from the several questions I have posted now, I am having a lot of trouble with this translation about electrical installations.
Can anyone help me out with this term:"anillo intemperie"
I translated it as "open ring of 4 positions," but I have a feeling that is WAY too literal.
Below I have included some context. It comes from a list entitled "APARAMENTA" (switchgear).

I arrived here with a google images search of 'anillo intemperie' (which also included your profile picture ;) ) - the photo seems to match your description.
It's an extension for a connection box....
My confidence is low because the web ref. I've given is from a commercial sales site - we (you, because I'm too busy ;) ) would need to find the original manufacturers page to confirm this.
