Just completed a 4-session course on Baudelaire Poetry and Essays Study Group through Tufts University Osher Life Long Learning

encensoir=censer, ostensoir=monstrance, reposoir=altar, Repetends refers to the unique repetition of lines in "Harmonie du soir" by Charles Baudelaire. The second line of each stanza becomes the first line of the next stanza; the fourth line of each stanza becomes the third line of the next stanza. Just completed "Inspired by Real Life: Reading and Writing Exofiction in French," a ten-week online NYUSPS course taught in French by Annie Heminway during the 2020 spring term. Weekly exercises, based on excerpts from 8 contemporary French authors. were written in French, including essays, monologues, dialogues, and poems based on excerpts from 8 contemporary French authors.

Just completed a another 4-session course on "Toilets and Sanitation in Developing Countries" through Tufts University's Osher Life Long Learning Institute. Marta Domini, engineer, was very knowledgeable about the problem and solutions. Since a significant part of my translations are geared towards International Development, I found this course very useful.

Just yesterday working with the TV Program supervisor, I edited and provided texts for the lower third of the footage for a recent video taped of a Martin Luther King, Jr. Program. The software used is called “Final Cut.” The program is one hour forty-five minutes and will be aired on our local cable TV station.
