Hi,

I would like to use Trados 2014 on Mac, is the Microsoft Office package for Mac useful or does anyone use it without any Microsoft pkg?

I don't use Trados, but there's no reason to install "Office:mac" for use with Trados. If anything, you should install "Office for Windows" on the Dark Side, i.e. the BootCamp partition or virtual machine with Windows you run Trados in.

You don't need MS Office for SDL Studio Sep 1, 2015

You don't need to install MS Office (Mac version) in order to be able to use SDL Studio.

However, if you want to prepare documents (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.) before you import them in Studio (e.g. by hiding certain parts of the content), you do need MS Office.

Office 2016 for Mac is now available with Office 365.
