@silvester55 I understand the 'rim seal fire' of your anwser, but my problem lies with context: there's the lack of context here, but also the fact that this is one of a series of questions and all the others have referred to equipment. So, 'rim seal' yes, definitely. But 'fire'?

Typo suspected As it's about fires, I think the 'feu' slipped in. Try researching 'jeu de joint' - I think that's what you need here.
