: I agree with incorporating or combining, but not reducing. And I think you should include references and a full explanation.

Not sure and you probably have thought about it already.

forfaiting -> selling at a discount
forf*a*iting rather than forfeiting or NB factoring-> 'Factoring involves the sale of trade receivables to a factor, typically a bank, in exchange for immediate cash payment. On the other hand, forfaiting is a form of export financing where the exporter sells the rights to trade receivables to a forfaiter and receives instant cash.'
Don't worry if you don't understand this form of finance. My inhouse City of London notarial boss dual-qualified as a Solicitor never did, either.
forfettizzando - a fronte dell’attività già svolta - le commissioni variabili : forfaiting ... variable commissions -> as amounts recevable -> by selling them at a discount

Forfaiting is a means of financing that enables exporters to receive immediate cash by selling their medium and long-term receivables—the amount an importer owes the exporter—at a discount through an intermediary.

: I'm not sure this is the best translation for the context, but kudos for looking it up in a dictionary! It doesn't mean forfeit/waive, though Paul is right that 'forfettizzando in un importo una tantum' is saying the same thing twice.

: Forfettizzare explicitly implies the choice of a lumpsum payment over an alternative usually pro rata payment, which is given in the text here.

In the discussion, this is "waiving .... in exchange for". "waiving" by itself does not translate forfettizzando.
