Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Mikhail Kriviniouk

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Do you think I don't understand anything? :) Well, if you want... What I'm doing is, that I'm trying to find out certain details from a book about . Instead of just writing a summary, I simply translate the parts (I think it's easier) in which I find what I'm looking for. And I translate quite much, so naturally there are many things, certain words and so that I don't understand, or then I want to assure I have understood it right, or sometimes I just need help to get a good translation. I've been working with this for many months already (not every day of course, it's a long-term project). Always now and then I take the time to check up all the details and words I don't understand, that's why I have many questions at the same time. You don't have to help me no more. I'm grateful for all help I've already got from you! I hope you are satisfied with my answer.
Kirill Semenov Jul 14, 2005:
Do you understand anything about the text you're working with? I'm just curiuous, but I'm not going to help you anymore, sorry

was erected

In my old "Tour guide: Leningrad" was written that Peter-and-Paul fortress was erected by the Peter the Great. This Latin rooted word sounds more solemn and ancient in historical connotation . "Built" is also quite good, but little too general. I feel that "to reinforce" mostly means make stronger, or put reinforcing steel bars in contemporary concrete structure or a prefabricated buiding component. But it is only vague feeling, so I do not insist and wish the best to all.
