I am a native German speaker, language enthusiast, confident SDL Trados user and, what's more, highly experienced English/French-to-German translator.

My areas of expertise are Marketing, Market and Trend Research as well as Online Gaming (especially Online Poker). I also have experience in translating General Business Topics, PR and Customer Service content.

I am however always open to broadening my knowledge and learning new things. (Previous work experience as a trend researcher and information manager has proven to be a great asset when it comes to finding pertinent information.)

So far, I have translated: web pages, mini-sites, promotional email campaigns, press releases, PowerPoint presentations, questionnaires, banners, graphics and other advertising material, software, user interface elements and e-commerce content.

As for my educational background, I hold two business degrees from universities in Germany and France, specialising in International Marketing and Management as well as English and French business language. In addition to that, I completed an AKAD seminar in “Fundamentals of Translation Studies” in 2009 to round off my theoretical knowledge.

Due to my previous work as a Senior Localisation Language Specialist, I not only have a solid understanding of localisation processes and translation practices, but also extensive experience in handling large-scale projects – namely delivering on time and with high linguistic quality.

My current translation capacity is: 1.000 to 2.000 words per day, depending on the subject matter.
