How good is Wordfast's VLTM for context searches?

I have been considering buying Wordfast simply as a means of accessing their VLTM for terminology research.
Is it worth it? Is there a lot of difficult-to-find terminology in there? And is it possible to access the VLTM without having to install Wordfast itself? I'd love to have a simple client that I can use for context searches.

Found it pretty useless... May 31, 2008

...last time I tried it (English > German).

But installing Wordfast would be easier than any of the workarounds I could think of.

Good luck.

I had it installed for a while. I ended up using it the same way I use Leo (a big Ger>Eng online dictionary)--good for getting the synapses going if you can't think of a word, but not to be trusted in terms of precision. If you want high quality technical reference, respectable dictionaries are still the way to go.
