OPI / VRI INTERPRETERS — LIVE SPOKEN-LANGUAGE INTERPRETING

This listing is specifically for interpreters who facilitate live conversations by telephone (OPI) or video (VRI). It is not a written translation, proofreading, subtitling or document-translation assignment. Written translation experience alone does not meet this requirement.

Please describe your hands-on OPI/VRI experience, language pairs and dialects, interpreting settings, time zone and availability. Include your interpreting training and any current professional certification, naming the issuing body; training certificates should be identified separately from professional certification. Medical interpreting experience and relevant certification are especially welcome. A private workspace, reliable internet and suitable audio/video equipment are required.

VoiceLingua is building its independent contractor network for anticipated opportunities. VRI recruitment does not mean healthcare video service is currently active. Acceptance, assignments, hours and income are not guaranteed.

OPI AND VRI INTERPRETERS WANTED — LIVE TELEPHONE AND VIDEO INTERPRETING

VoiceLingua needs interpreters who can interpret live conversations between English and one of the languages listed above.

OPI = Over-the-Phone Interpreting: listening and interpreting spoken conversations by telephone.
VRI = Video Remote Interpreting: interpreting live conversations over a video connection.

Please apply only if you have relevant live interpreting experience. Written document translation, proofreading or subtitling experience by itself does not meet this requirement. Translators who ALSO have live OPI/VRI experience are welcome to apply as interpreters.

In your application, clearly state:
- Your English language pair and dialects.
- Whether you offer OPI, VRI or both.
- Your live interpreting experience and settings (for example, medical, legal or community).
- Your professional interpreting certifications, if any, with issuing body; list training separately.
