Here is the entry from the Oxford Dictionary on "indicador":

: The reason the labels change colors is as a warning. It is in the translation of "indicador" pursuant to the highly respected Oxford Dictionary. See the exact translation below, in my answer, where I just copied and pasted it for your benefit. - Mike :)

I agree this could be a warning label sometimes, but not all the the time. I still think "color changing label" is a bit more concise.
