Spanish term

irrenunciable

Spanish to English Art/Literary Textiles / Clothing / Fashion
unrenounceable is not in Merriam-Webster's and the options in the KudoZ glossary (inexorable, among others) don't work here.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks to everyone for the great options! Indispensable gets used multiple times elsewhere and I though that ubiquitous perfectly conveys that the sarape was seen everywhere, and therefore, no one took any notice of it!"

unrelinquishable/un-relinquishable

I was looking for a synonym for renounce/renouncable and came up with relinquish/relinquishable. I first wondered whether un-relinquishable was a word but the web link I give below suggests it is!

reigned sepreme / unconquerable / unbeatable

To get around the repetition in English, I would translate as follows, perhaps:

...reigned spereme for a very long time.
...because they were unconquerable/unbeatable

Or something like that... Suerte :)

...because IT WAS unconquerable/unbeatable [even!]

This is how I would put it to get the idea across.
