auditing student
An auditing student is one who wishes only to attend lectures for a particular course/s but who does not wish to complete the assignments or write the exams and, therefore, will not be eligible to receive a grade or any credit hours upon completion of the course. A student admitted as an auditing student who later decides to take a course for credit will need to apply for admission in another applicant category.
