: where does it say anything about a Surgeon? A doctor in medicine is not necessarily also a surgeon.

Discussion
Why must we slavishly "convert" terms to what they would be in our own countries? it's a question that I keep on challenging translators with. Of course I KNOW that you can't get a diploma to be a doctor in the US or the UK, but does that matter if the Spanish (presumably from Argentina) actually says diploma?
