Spanish to English Medical Medical: Pharmaceuticals distribution warehouse / labeling
Spain: SOP for product labeling. This step is after the product has been processed and quality-checked and physically moved to a "completed" location and its location code has been changed in the computer: "Solo el Responsable de Calidad recibirá en las pistolas de trabajo la reubicación de los códigos que se han manipulado para su aprobación o rechazo." Trying to picture what this is... not mentioned anywhere else in the doc. Thanks.

FYI. As it turns out... complicated situation -- these are products already labeled by manufacturer that are being given an additional label for use in another country. The SOP being translated was for this RE-labeling. My PM queried the client: "barcode reader? or device that creates the barcodes?" Client replied: Unfortunately, it could be either. The original product labels include a two piece (or dimensional) barcode and our Affiliates use hand held scanners to read them. There is a possibility that they may be adding a barcode in Portugal [in the RElabeling], but if it's just numbers, then it would be a redundant operation. We'll find out later what they're actually doing. For now I would favour "handheld barcode reader".

I don't think it's the barcode reader I think it's the device that creates the barcodes in the factory.
