in the toilet / staff area / room

I'm toying with these two options.

You don´t say where your text is from, but could 'personal' be some strange way of saying 'toilet'?

Or, 'el personal' could mean 'el área personal' - the staff area/room.
Note from asker:
Thanks, I thought of "toilets" as well but I haven't seen "el personal" as a translation of that before. The text appears to be from a Latin-American country as it deals with Latin-American health systems...

neutral philgoddard : I think one of these is the most likely - but I'm not sure which.

Me neither, it's a case of asking the client what they mean exactly.
agree Karen Vincent-Jones (X) : Staff area / relaxation area might be what is meant.

Thanks, Karen - yes, ore likely to be along those lines as there doesn´t seem to be any reference to 'el personal' referring to a toilet, or not that I've been able to find so far anyway :)
agree John Cutler : I'd go with staff area too.

on/over staff members

No es muy claro, pero creo que se refiere a las personas que se encuentran trabajando con esos desechos orgánicos.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Lisa McCarthy : I don´t think it refers to people throwing these things on the staff.

over health personnel

You should not pour contaminated organic residue and/or water on health workers, or on the floor of their working areas or in drainages (toilets). There are special containers for such residues in clinics and hospitals.
Peer comment(s):

neutral philgoddard : Why on earth would anyone want to do this?

neutral Lisa McCarthy : Really can´t imagine people throwing stuff on the staff :) Certainly would put me off being admitted to a place like that!

neutral John Cutler : Agree with the above two comments.

near personnel

I think this is what's meant.

'Personnel' is just as acceptable as 'staff', and in this case it works better.
