Spanish term

$ corrientes

Spanish to English Social Sciences Economics
This appears on a chart in an ILO report on youth employment. The column's full heading reads:

"Salario mensual promedio ($ corrientes)" and it speaks of the changes in monthly salaries over time. Is this a reference to "value at the time"? It does not appear to be adjusted for inflation, since the rates increase from 680 pesos in 2004 to 5100 pesos in 2013, so it appears to be in absolute terms, but I am not sure what the precise term is.

Thanks!

Current value

What is current value accounting?
Current value accounting is the concept that assets and liabilities be measured at the current value at which they could be sold or settled as of the current date. This varies from the historically-used method of only recording assets and liabilities at the amounts at which they were originally acquired or incurred (which represents a more conservative viewpoint).
