"Estimador" might also mean 'estimate' in this context - I'm not clear on that point.

the Jackknife 1 statistic gave the best fit

Or the "Jackknife 1 statistic best fitted the data" if you want to be more literal. "Data" would be understood and isn't really needed.

"Jackknife 1" is the first-order jackknife estimator of species richness.

N.B. There should be two "k"s in the word.

Chao is another commonly used statistic in this field.
