Spanish to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Text from Canary Islands
Entendemos que este encuentro podría incluirse por su naturaleza y carácter innovador en el marco de los actos programados para el Año Internacional del Turismo Sostenible para el Desarrollo.
Copio en el mensaje de NOMBRE,

This is the end of a letter. I wonder is to be sent by email and if this "Copio en el mensaje de" means that the emaill will be Cc: to NOMBRE? Or does it mean something else entirely? I would appreciate your help/input. TIA.

I believe that... Your second rendering is more accurate as per source. They might have used the wrong prepositions and meant that NOMBRE will be cc'ed, but who are we to guess, right? HTH!

Or is it that ... I will copy this into NOMBRE's message,???

The Spanish strikes me as odd, but this seems to be the meaning and, in preserving the ambiguity of the original, covers both of the possibilities Lorna has suggested (i.e., that the *verbatim* message is being sent on to the named recipient, or that the text is being inserted into another messaged sent to said recipient).
