Spanish term

rastrelado

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering Finishes
From an estimate from Spain for translation to British English:

"M/2 de fabricación de panelado de paramentos verticales interiores, realizado ... madera ... acabado ..., incluso p.p. de rastrelado en tablero contrachapado ..."

Where I understand "p.p." to mean proportional part.

GLOSSARY ENTRY (DERIVED FROM QUESTION BELOW)
Spanish term or phrase: enrastrelado
English translation: furring strips (US)/battens (UK)

For wall applications, I think furring strip (US)/battens (UK) is the term (if it were talking about floors, "sleepers" would be correct). The process is called "furring" in both dialects, and a wall dressed with furring strips for attaching the finish material is called "furred out".
