: El original es tan torcido que mal interpreté tu respuesta; tal y como explicas (y como cuento más abajo) la expresión en 1) alude a non-weight-bearing exercises. En el caso 2) se refiere a iniciar (partial) weight-bearing exercises. ¡¡¡Mis disculpas!!!

No obstante parece querer indicar que debe iniciarse la rehabilitación con ejercicios sin apoyo, ni siquiera con descarga (non-weight-bearing exercises), para sólo posteriormente iniciar apoyo con descarga (partial weight bearing exercises).
Por ejemplo,

El tratamiento fue artroscópico, y realizado por dos Equipos Quirúrgicos, con técnicas similares. Se resecó el fragmento necrótico cruentando el fondo. El post - operatorio fue realizado ***con descarga del peso por 4 - 6 semanas***, restituyendo la movilidad en forma inmediata de acuerdo al confort.
Se encontraron 7 lesiones en la cara tibial del astrágalo y 12 en la cara peronea del astrágalo.
Se utilizó el criterio de evlolución de la escala de UCLA. Encontrando un 86% de excelentes y buenos resultados.
En nuestra impresión el tratamiento artroscópico en las lesiones de la osteocondritis del tobillo es una alternativa de elección, y los resultados en los deportistas es aceptable.
