Given the context here, I think the phrase "se descalan y calan los soportes de rodamientos" is probably something like "remove and replace the bearing blocks".
But "calar" & especially "descalar" seem to be very obscure verbs, & I wasn't able to find much on either of them. Possibly a regional usage? Is this from Ecuador? Is it contemporary?

For what it is worth, but I lost the page I searched for "descalan (soportes de) rodamientos" and one idea was "decouple".

Discussion
When a part, such as a bearing, is cooled, it is shrunk before assembly, then expands to make a tight fit.
Curiously 'shrink fitting' is used in both cases.
Parece que **soporte de rodamento** puede ser Flange, bearing bracket, bearing support, (pues no es RACE, Race pues sera ANillo talvez, nunca he visto los rodamento de trenes, etc
.Descalado de ruedas en engranajes.
Shrink fitting of gear wheels.
(I have done this myself )Timing gears and axle bearings were pressed over the shaft or axle, warm the gear or bearing up in the oven and while it is still warm it will go on easier and be tighter and not move when it cools
