In a document from Spain, the term "mosquear" is used with respect to the plaster of the façade. They even put it in quotation marks, showing it must be a term used by the workers, not a term to be found in the dictionary. Can you tell me what they plan to do with the plaster?

En el caso del abombamiento del revoco, también será preciso el
levantamiento de todo el revoco suelto en el entorno del daño, para después
“mosquear” el mortero de base de manera que la aplicación del nuevo revoco
agarre bien sobre la base. Este revoco siempre será de cal.
