The asker originally noted the idea that the founders "decided to facilitate the acquisition of the shares," which makes sense.

La forma en que Fulano y Pepito pueden hacer que los VC salgan de su empresa es comprando sus acciones, lo cual se hace mediante un acuerdo negociado. Es decir, los VC venden a Fulano y Pepito sus acciones y de este modo salen de su inversión.
