French term

contrecalque

French to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) Drawings
The word "contrecalque" appears in a contract for the supply of a road rail truck (a truck that can travel both on rails and on roads). Here are some examples of the use of the term:

+ 1 *contrecalque*)

The term seems to refer to engineering drawings and documentation. It is unlikely to matter, but the source document originates from Mauritania.

All suggestions are welcome.

Marco, I'll let Tony answer - I've absolutely no idea what a transparent/translucid blueprint is, or indeed un contre-calque.
Marco Solinas (asker) May 30, 2020:
To ph-b Thank you. Yes, the hyphen did me in. Either you or Tony should post the answer. Thanks to both of you.

contre-calque ? in which case, Termium (since you're in Canada) suggests: "transparent/translucid blueprint" in the field of industrial design (https://www.btb.termiumplus.gc.ca/tpv2alpha/alpha-fra.html?l... See also: https://www.proz.com/kudoz/french-to-english/construction-ci... as suggested by Tony (that hyphen may explain why you didn't find it).
Marco Solinas (asker) May 30, 2020:
To Tony M Yes, I have done a term search and found nothing.
Tony M May 30, 2020:
@ Asker I have a faint feeling we've had this before; so if you haven't already, maybe try a term search?
Could this possibly be something like a dyeline copy, which are 'negative' and hence might perhaps explain the 'contre' bit?
