Water-rickers
Many people even to this day believe the Comanches to be a tribe distinct from others. It is not so, for they belong to the Shoshone family, as do also the Utahs, Pah Utes, and Water-rickers, who principally lived on the Great American Desert or its border.

LOL! Regards and to all, stay safe!
According to Wikipedia there is traditional Shoshone band called the Watatikka.
The bands are named for their primary food source. In the shoshone language wata means ryegrass seed and tikka means eater.
Water-rickers could be a corruption of watatikka.
